Helga first joined the guild in September 1107, whilst drunk, after being dragged into the room from the street by Kully. She was mildly surprised to say the least that she had managed to find them as she had done a very good job of being distracted by the variety of ale houses available in Aberddu. Grinning in self satisfaction Helga loudly proclaimed that she wanted to join the guild and was promptly shoved in front of Jup the current guild master who told her some brief rules before saying that she was now a member of the adventurers guild. Smiling Helga began to talk to people in the room and discovered a half troll by the name of Ares who strongly resembled her brother, after talking to him for a while the two became friends and after guild night had ended he again took her round the pubs of Aberddu, probably not the best idea in the world and one she sorely regretted the next day when she woke up.
	
	Upon her first adventure Helga failed miserably after managing to show the Frisians the network of tunnels the adventurers had used to get into the Frisian occupied part of the city and then allowing herself to be captured by them. However it didn’t turn out all bad as she was swiftly rescued by one of the guilds own Theadore Thornton (who as it turns out later was not one of the guild’s own at all but a Frisian spy) and bought back safely to the guild after suffering nothing more than poor rations. Helga swiftly began to increase her training as a warrior so that incidents like this would not happen again.
	
	It was upon night of masks (or the dwarven holiday of silly buggers) that Helga first found her faith. As was not uncommon in her early adventuring days Helga was already well gone with drink so when the spirit of a dead Tarter called Steffan came into the guild she was more than willing to listen to the tales he told her of the feasting halls of Valheim where good and honourable warriors would forever drink and feast in the name of Amroth as a reward for there good deeds on urdd. Almost without a second thought Helga said “Sign me up for a bit of that.” and was thus converted to the faith of Amroth. Though she thought little of this at the time it was to prove a turning point in her life as her faith became incredibly important to her. After about a week when she had had time to sober up properly and to think about things more she realised she had no real idea what being a follower of Amroth entailed. Deciding to find out she went to Arkhan upon guild night who sat there and described to her who the goddess Amroth really was and what following her entailed. The more she herd the more Helga began to think that maybe she had been a bit hasty choosing a god because of the afterlife it carried with it, Steffan had never even mentioned this Hellheim where you were supposed to go if you displeased your god. Never one to lightly go back on her word however Helga decided to give this Amroth a chance, You never know she thought I might get to like the honourable lifestyle.  So she began to follow Amroth doing her best to follow the moral code that entailed but not doing too well. It was a few weeks later though that Arkhan finally seemed to lose his temper with her.
	
	It was guild night again and Helga sat at a table as the door burst open, it was Skalf already half gone in drink. “Hey Helga how about that drinking competition you promised me huh?” Smiling to herself Helga thought  Fool he is only half dwarf, I can hold twice as much liquor as him and he is already half drunk, I can win this easily. “Fine by me, pull up a seat, last one under the table wins.” Skalf just  smiled back at her and sat down. Dexter walked over to the table and placed upon it a bottle that merely read Booze. Helga and Skalf quickly finished there first bottle and then picked up the one donated by Dexter. Helga took the first swig and was instantly paralysed as the fluid hit her stomach. When she could eventually move again she and Skalf were both roaring drunk. They continued drinking until the bottle was taken from them. At some point in the night (She is not entirely sure when) Helga looked up to see Arkhan standing over her, hands on hips and a face like thunder. He proceeded to tell her off for being drunk on duty to witch she replied that she didn’t know she was on duty for anything. His face falling into an even deeper scowl Arkhan proceeded to explain that whilst she was around those weaker than herself she was always on duty to protect them. He then asked her if she wanted to go to Hellheim and gave her a description of the place she would end up if she didn’t change her ways.  Though the thought of this didn’t sober her a now sober Scalf decided that she was going to do her duty. Taking her outside he dunked her in the horse trough so many times and for so long as to drown her, however she was so far gone this method was useless. Seeing this Arkhan got some salt water and forced her to drink it causing her stomach contense to rapidly revisit her. Soon her stomach was completely empty, even it seemed of the things that were supposed to be there like bile, she was however much to her disgust suddenly stone cold sober.  After being frogmarched back into the guild she was resoundley slapped by both Lees and Gizelle before being lectured to by Arkhan about the perils of drinking on duty and where it would lead to. After this she resolved to give up drink (a resolution she hasn’t been able to stick to too well after an incident involving a hip flask) and has been on several more adventures for the guild. It was after one of these adventures that she sought the advice of Arkhan after something happened to shake her faith. Though his words were of little comfort to her he sent her on a pilgrimage to Meridian the holy city of Amroth to pray in the temple there.
	
	Helga went to meridian and prayed for many hours at the temple and then began too feel the presence of her god as if she were there in the room with her. After confirming this was not the case Helga went on to discover that she had been blessed with the ability to wield the power of her god. Satisfied that she had made peace with her god for now at least Helga returned home to the guild. Her life continued peacefully until the coming of summer. It was then that plans were made to go to Frisia and destroy the black inquisitor in order to cripple Frisia. Long ago Helga had sworn a blood oath to help destroy Frisia and so she prepared for war. It was during this war that her worst faults were to be bought to light and her greatest treachery reviled.
	
	In Frisia Helga was plagued by prophetic dreams that got progressively worse in content to the point where she refused to go to sleep for fear of what her dreams might show. It was this that led her to be extremely sleep deprived and not on her guard as much as she should have been allowing one of there guides to be eaten by a demon. Eventually she was sent on a mission to free the slaves that the Frisians had been experimenting on, a mission witch still haunts her nightmares and her waking hours alike. It was upon the next day however that her fate was sealed. The Assault on Anoveld had begun and the final battle to defeat the Black inquisitor was raging around her. The blows she was striking on the enemy were not taking effect, her connection to Heimdala had been cut and  she was cut down by a Frisian soldier. Thinking this was the end she gratefully sank into the darkness but was sharply pulled out of it again to be staring face to face with a Frisian who had just healed her. Sitting up she saw that all those around her were down, panic tore through her, she was no use here, she could not heal she could not fight and she was a drain on the already stretched resources of the guild. At any other time this would have warranted a suicidal charge into the enemy to attempt to drop his numbers or at least cause a distraction, however her mind strayed to the top pocket of her gambeson were the item of portal sat. It had been given to her by Arkhan that she might go home and report but might she not also use it to escape this carnage and maybe get some help? Taking it out of her pocket she activated it and was instantly transported back to the guild house in Aberddu.
	
	Agony ripped through her as she returned, for half an hour nothing but screams issued from her lips as she lay upon the guild house floor and watched Ed de briee come back in and offer her a way back. She wanted so desperately to be sent back but could not reply. Eventually he shrugged and then disappeared as he portaled back to the fight himself. After the half hour was up she crept into the nearest corner and wept at what she had done, for the knowledge that others would die for her cowardice.

	Weeks passed and it came to the first guild night after Frisia. Helga was in no mood to go really but Ares had persuaded her otherwise and so she sat in the guild room. All was going well until hearing three thumps on the door Helga turned round to see who it was. Her blood froze in her veins as she saw an iceni standing there. In her heart she knew it was here for her and this was only confirmed when she herd Stryke say “Ok who‘s the Amroth botherer?” Her blanched face was evidence enough that it was her along with her muttering “He is here for me” Kenshiro strode over to her and asked “What have you done?” Gulping and taking a slight breath whilst remembering the horror of that day she replied “I fled the field of Battle. At Anoveld” Breaking eye contact he said “Then take responsibility for your actions.” “I‘m going to” she replied and strode out into the middle of one side of the room. The iceni was stood facing her with the guild milling in between “Don‘t interfere” said Stryke before the rest of the guild could do anything. Suddenly the way was clear, the guild were stood against the walls and Helga stood facing the Iceni alone. He began to pace around her, circling her sniffing at her “So you are Helga then” he said to witch she replied yes. After a short talk about what he was going to do a fight began. It was short by the standards of most men but for Helga it seemed to last a lifetime. Soon she was down on her knees bleeding from a dozen places with the claws of the iceni around her throat. Then he plunged his hand at her chest and she felt no more. Soon however she was conscious again even if she was only able to hear and breath, feeling herself lifted up and carried Helga was confused I though I was dead but this certainly isn’t what I expected Hellheim to be like She thought as she was carried and then laid down somewhere. Then she herd the voiced of Ed, Kakita and Gizelle as well as the Iceni. She didn’t follow most of the conversation but she did manage to understand that she was not to die and should be healed in a few weeks. Feeling a pressure on her shoulder she herd ed whisper in her ear “Come see me in my temple when you are better” before hearing his footsteps wonder off. Then she felt someone rubbing her cheek fondle and herd Gizelle’s voice say “Come back to us soon.” and then herd her footsteps fade into the distance swiftly followed by another pair she assumed to be Kakita’s. She then felt a slight pressure on her chest as a clawed hand was laid there “The body will take a few weeks to heal but the wounds of the soul are another matter, it is up to you now, only you can make your path, but I will be hear watching over you.” She then herd the last set of footsteps wonder off. So She thought I am not to die, a god witch does not forgive has seen it right to give me a second chance, I shall not waste it as I did my first. I shall do my best to be the best Amrothian I can be. I only pray that my best is good enough…

... I wonder what Arkhan is doing now, by all rights he should be sat in the halls of Valheim feasting with his friends, but he did tell me of other possiabilities before we even began the assult on Anoveld and each was as likley as the other. Maybe this iceni knows what's happened to his soul, if i ever wake up from this I must ask, afterall I told Arkhan I would fight through Hellheim to get him back out, why should the other option be any diffrent, I will ask otherwise I won't be able to rest and I must see that his wife is looked after, may the godess watch over and protect her for I may not be around to do so myself and I swore that I would make sure she was alright...

... "This is Helga Mum." Helga herd footstepps and then Ares voice as well as the voice of another woman. She couldn't quite catch what she was saying but she wasn't really bothered by that. Lying on her back Helga heard Ares explain that she was his friend and that she was only like this because she had been punished by her god. Soon the voices stopped and the footsteps faided away leaving Helga once again with her thoughts...

Recently Helga has reawakened from her comatose state and had several things happen all at once. First Dries stabbed her with a potion, then she was fed an antidote witch had some undesirable effects, next she went on an adventure for the guild. Whilst battling with some undead Helga began to feal strange. Inside of her was rage that wasn't hers, an anger at the very presence of these things, suddenly she realised that it was the divine rage of Amroth against the undead. Throughout the adventure she continued to feal the rage or lack of rage of the lady Amroth. Soon she returned home, seeking out Ashanti and Ares to have a talk. Now as guild night approches she seeks the one that called her coward and hopes that Ed will forgive her for her mistakes.

After the night of masks Helga began to go around town with Eleri helping the pesents of Aberddu. On guild night she saw Kenshiro, Kakita and bly pulled through a portal to the pit. Since then she has made plans to travell to the pit in order to rescue them however she dosn't want to take anyone else into danger and so is planning to travell alone in serch of the missing guild members. Resigning from the guild she travelled back to the Amroth temple to gather her things before leaving. She got a message saying that there was someone outside who wanted to see her so going outside she saw Kenshiro. Pleased that she would not in fact have to go to the pit Helga was unable to speek as he just stared at her and then wandered off. Now she didn't have to go to the pit however she was still technically no longer a part of the guild, now she just needed to have a word with Dane to ask if she will be allowed back into the guild.

After a recent Adventure (although still techniclly not a member of the guild) Helga has had symbols carved on her arms and chest witch she thought she had removed.During guild night however it became aparent that they had left a mark on her soul as well that was detectable to the amrothians of the queens guard. Taken by guild members to the temple of life she got healed although she still bears the scars of the symbols and now owes the life temple a huge favour. The Albions however remain convinced that she is a demonologist and unfortunatly know her name and on Thursdays at least a likely place to find her...

Along with other guild members she was trapped over midwinter in the cleric's knee by the fey Arton. Being driven insane by being constantly with the guild she made a deal with the barman and in return for her shield managed to get somewhere outside of the bar to sit away from everyone. Once this option was avaliable she rarely spent much time indoors as she wanted to kill Arton so badly she was willing to try anything but logic told her that if she did they might rmeain trapped there forever. Insted she spent her time writing and talking to herself as if you lent over the edge of the shield in the darkness you could see a copy of yourself. Eventually however the adventurers were released and Helga instantly set off for the elven hills carrying as much food as she could.

Upon reaching the elven hills Helga found the wife of Arkhan Merricks alive and well, if still heavily pregnant. After checking she was ok Helga went and prayed in the glade that Arkhan had permanently concecrated to Amroth. His sword still stuck in the ground reminded Helga of what she ment to do, taking the smallest blade she could get and some ink she carved designes into her flesh that would have no meaning for anyone who wasn't Amrothian. Satisfied that the marks would stay there she gathered up her things and went to say goodbye to Sophie. As she left she gave her a packet of papers saying "If I do not return within 6 months open this, I am sorry for any inconvienience I caused you, I hope this explains why I did it. They also contain something for your child. Good luck and may the lady Amroth watch over and bless you both."

Since returning to the guild everything seems to have happened at once, Rikku a close friend of hers left for Nippon in serch if her past, Gizelle another good friend was kidnapped and Helga along with some others had to go and resuce her and then she was conracted to go and find out what was wrong in Tartaria as the mages had detected something strange going on. Whilst on there way to tartaria via portal Helga and Solustaren got seperated from the others and trapped in the astral. After finding another mage who was trapped they fought there way through to find a spot where some shamans of Clan Boar were conducting a ritual to ask for aid from there totem. Seising the oppotunithy they came through to find themselves once more upon the material plane. The shamans were understandably shocked by this and once they had completed the ritual they took them to see the clan chieften. As they walked they saw that much of the land was on fire, the shamans told them it was no ordinary fire but that it was set by clan Stonesnake who were trying to regain the power that Salamander once had. Once they met up with the rest of the clan the adventurers had to prove who they were and try and prove that they ment no harm to the Boar clan. After swiftly disarming they held a discussion with the clan and found out that the symbol of the adventurer's guild was actually a ritual that took away the power of the Salamander. Eventually the clan accepted that they were who they said they were and there sacred Boar came up to Helga. She stood perfectly still as it bit her hand causing the blood to flow and stood confused for a second as it did the same to the chielften. Realisation hit when the Boar nudged there hands towards each other, clasping together the wounds Helga and the clan chief mixed there blood whilst Helga swore to fight by the side of the boar to stop this fire and the madness caused by the clan Stonesnake tarters. The boar then bit both Solustaren and the other mage they were with and they too were made into members of clan Boar. There blood mixed the chieften then painted the marks of clan Boar onto there faces, each were given tusks but no more as they had not proved themselves yet. The two adventurers then left swearing to find out what caused the fire and how to stop it. After much investigation they managed to find the transport circle that would take them home along with the other adventurers. Transporting home Helga then went to tell certain people what was going on and what it could mean for the guild.

Since the incident in tartaria helga has been through a lot of changes, after being visited in person by her god Helga is convinced that she is at least the chosen of Heimdala the defender even if she is not yet the chosen of Amroth as a whole, therefore she has decided to stop always being afraid of the temple and to stand up for herself for a change. She has also finally motivated herself to do something she has been meaning to do since last summer, first she is travelling to paravell to find an old friend before coming back to Aberddu to gather some others and heading off into the pit to save the soul of a hero, but would all the rescuers come back...

On her way back from finding Jup Helga stopped by in the small village where Arkhan's wife lived. There she found that Sophie had had a baby boy, whilst asking if she needed anything Helga found herself left holding the baby, the childs mother insisting he would have a better life with her in Aberddu than in the elven hills. Sophie couldnot be dissuaded and so Helga bought the child back with her to Aberddu, named Arkhan after his father. Helga gathered her forces together but was ordered by Crone, the icon of Amroth, to stay home and look after the baby. As a result, after some people were unable to attend those who went into the pit numbered only three, Jup Kakita and Crone. Helga was forced to stay home worried about her friends. At that guildnight they found fires in the woods along with the chief of Clan Boar, she gave them an update about what was going on in tartaria, but that was not what held Helga's attention. Kenshiro came up to her during guildnight and told her that August had done her spell to locate people and senced Kakita on this plane but not Crone. After a brief one sided talk he told Helga that it was a good job that Kakita was not dead otherwise she would be also and her soul taken to the void so that it could never reach the realm of Amroth.

During the week Ares came to Helga to ask for help in repairing his relic, as a result she found herself in the north of K'chon for a week in some sort of strange temple. After they eventually left once Ares figured out that the point was that he shouldn't take things so seriously, they returned to Aberddu. Once there Helga went straight to the temple to find Crone's body laid out in the temple. He had died in the attempt to retrieve Arkhan's soul. She was hit with dispair and had to be escorted out of the chamber not to be let in again. She did not reappear in the guild before summer, deciding insted that she should take care of the child and those friends she had left.

Deciding that she was not equipped to look after the child properly Helga took Arkhan to Meridian and there left him in the care of the Iceni, at least for the imediate future. She then carried on into Tartaria to find the guild however she arrived too late discovering that the fire had been the pheonix and that several guild members had died. She also discovered that the chief of Clan Boar Teris had died so that all present would live. Bitterly dissapointed at her discoveries Helga returned to Aberddu with a new ambition in her heart...

Disilusioned with the guild after everyone she trusted eather dying, leaving or becoming cocks Helga left the guild in mid October 1109 choosing to go and train amoungst the Iceni of Meridian. However in mid November of 1109 she recieved a disturbing message from Jonah about five guildmembers and saying that the guild needed her to return to help them. Disturbed by this message Helga set off at once for Aberddu not knowing what she would find there.
