Where baby Tartars come from

Far away in Tartaria there is a deep dark woods, and in these woods live the very secretive clan of Clan Stork.
The Clan is considered sacred by all Tartar clans, for they concentrate much more on their shamanic practices than anything else and as a result are much closer to theri Totem than many other clans.
The Stork totem is known among Tartars to be one of the most caring and gentle of Totems, this is because unbeknownst to anyone but Tartars (and a certain Trickster cleric) the Stork totem is in fact the source of where all Tartars were born.
Loenly, and weary of life with the other totems, the Stork created the first Tartar, he taught the Tartar the ways of the woods, how to live with the wild, how to hunt, to feed and to care for himself and in time this first Tartar became a powerful Shaman.
However the Shaman became lonely and wished for others of his kind, and feeling sorry for his creation the Stork taught the Tartar a sacred ritual to create new life. Since then the ritual has been performed many many many times.
Once for each Tartar in existence to be exact, and when a Mummy Tartar and a Daddy Tartar love each other very much, they undertake a quest, to the deep dark woods of the Stork Clan, where they meet with the Stork Clan Shaman and once more enact the sacred ritual of new life. Always leaving 3 days later with a brand new baby Tartar...
