Wererabbit

Wererabbits are a very unique species. For a start unlike all other werecreatures they are total herbivores. They have also been around for less than a decade and their full powers are not yet completely known. These are the powers that have so far been excepted: -

They can run at faster speeds than normal humans can, even other rabbits for a limited amount of time each day when in rabbit form. Their speed even matches that of a vampire.

They can change shape almost at will. Changing from their two main forms, Rabbit and human. So far no battle form has as yet been discovered. This may be because they do not have it or it only appears at times of great mental and physical trauma. If this form exists at all it must be a terrifying sight.

They seem unaffected by silver, gold or copper. The metals normally associated with werecreatures and there destruction. Theses are the powers that have already been exhibited.

Where they come form and who created them is still a mystery to us, there have been tales however of an adventurer bitten by a werewolf who then changed to wererabbit form instead of the normally wolf form, others that a werewolf was turned into a rabbit by a mighty sorcerer and still more that an unlucky soul was “blessed” by the trickster god. Still many barons are offering huge rewards for the person who created them; few people like it when there prey fight back.
