Waarheid
Waarhied is the god that formed when Eldoth Naler combined as one the gods of Knowledge and Enigmas using the Book of Questions (An Enigma artefact) and the Eye of Knowledge with the power of Reading. The name was translated using the Eye of Reading to reveal the meaning of the gods name: Truth; this was then adopted as the name of worship for a short time for his the followers in the city state of Aberddu before that folly was revealed in the Autumn of 1110.
During the Spring and Summer of 1110 is was believed that Waarheid was floating in the Rising Gods Temple having been raised by his followers, who were working to complete his ascendancy. Taking the form of the statue built in his honour it bore a striking resemblance to his Prophet Eldoth Naler, who fell in a mission to rescue a comrade from the clutches of the nascent goddess of Vengeance; his soul stolen by Vengeances followers and transferred to her.
In the effort to bring this being known as Truth to power the three of the eyes of knowledge were merged with its being. The eye of reading was incorporated when the nascent god arrived on the material plane, and took the place of one of its eyes; the same one that Eldoth Naler cut out from him, self to place the eye of reading in when he was alive. The eyes of scrying and spiritual vision became part of the god later, merging with the palms of the god.
Before the fall of this order and the temple the beginnings of a Templar order named the Blades of Waarheid were formed to guard Truth and his faithful.
During the Night of Masks of 1110, however, the folly of the worshippers of Truth was revealed as their 'god' abandoned its physical form and revealed itself as a demon. In doing so it almost devoured the entirety of Aberddu with a Pit Gate kill over four thousand people in the space of a couple of hours.
Shortly afterwards it transpired that there were others worshipping Waarheid in complete secrecy and seclusion in Alraeth. Such was their secrecy and hermetic practices that they only revealed themselves a short two weeks after Night of Masks, despite messengers being dispatched to all corners of the world via traders and portals in the 4 months preceding their arrival.
These worshippers of Waarhied apparently have been keeping the true god in seclusion and safety in the bounds of their temples in Alraeth, and were very surprised to learn of the events that had transpired in Aberddu.
