Trickster
The Trickster has a rather bad reputation due to His penchant of playing practical jokes on people. However, He generally had a good (in His estimation) reason for doing such - maybe the joke taught the recipient something new about themselves, or perhaps they were too full of themselves and needed a demonstration of how they are not all powerful. He is as much a God of teachers as of clowns, and more than any of the other Gods He gave the distinct impression of "being on our side", for actually caring about people, all people. This may have been because he was originally a mortal (according to legend) who tricked the original God in this position into relinquishing their power and committing suicide, thus gaining their power as His own, and giving Him His name.
