Time to bring the pain - Arabi

The battle in Arabi was the final straw for Rikku. Turning her world upside-down.

It was time to bring an end to Al Ra'keem's reign in terror. To finally redeem Jonah's name and to bring redemption for those that fell.

The morning of the battle did not go as smoothly as intended. After leaving Solustaran to his research once keeping a close eye on him during the night, she went to the memorial where her lady, 'Mel” lay, on a stack of wood layed to perfection, a symbol of memoriam.
In respect, she knelt down in front of the memorial and listened to the words of the prayers given. Suddenly there was a scream from the first floor in the building. Solustaran?
Ignoring this, she stood and spoke a few words as a “Champion of the Guild”

“This warrior, my lady “Mel”, was a strong warrior. I am proud to have fought by her side. Her final battle was an honourable one, an honourable death.
What we do today, will echo in our actions for the future.
Fight so their deaths and sacrifices were not in vain.
Honour and remember those that have fallen.

She leans down close to “Mel's” ear, and whispers, “You will never be forgotten, it was an honour. I thank you....”
As she straightens, she looks at “Mel” and bows to her as a mark of respect.

"May they be Remembered! Never Forgotten."

As other people spoke about the people they have lost, Rikku listened carefully to the words they spoke, understanding the difficulty speaking of a close one that has past on.

As the memorial ended, the follower of death spoke the final words, placed two coins on “Mel's” eyes and finally lit the memorial, groups of people watched it burn until there was nothing lift.

Rikku stood, bowed once more to the memorial and went into the building to find out what was going on upstairs.

She noticed that Solustaren seemed a bit pale... Rikku enquired to the room what happened, and was told that Solustaren was a vampire. Solustaren raised up his arm and clenched in his fist was the chain of a magical stone. “We finally have them all” spoke Solus.
Remembering Kenshiro's shard that Solustaren took and researched, she asked where it was. “This is all of the shards, this is the completed Void Mirror” replied Solus. “This may get destroyed. Kenshiro wasn't expecting this back was he?”
“If it is destroyed then it is best to be destroyed completely. No-one should ever use this power”
Rikku looks confused at Solus.
“...Can sunlight hurt you?”
