The Black Eagle is a unit of Legend (although they actually exist)

The Black Eagle is composed predominantly of high ranking diplomats and titled gentry and is the major branch of the Frisian Intelligence Network. Many make the mistake of seeing it not as a military operation but a political one. Each member of the Black Eagle is skilled in Military strategy and warfare as well as appearing respectable and educated. There are few who know exactly how many people are members of the Black Eagle and even fewer who know what functions they fulfil, although it has been rumoured that members of the Black Eagle serve on most large goverments on Urdd. It is also rumoured that a number of the Black Eagle are not of Frisian heritage.

As for most soldiers, they know of the Black Eagle only as a myth, skeptically believing them to be mere fiction.
