Sebythe

By far the rarest and, some say (mainly the Sebyth themselves), the noblest of the human races, the Sebyth are an ancient people whose secretive culture is linked with that of the Elves. This race appears throughout "Human" history and present societies in many different roles, from the lowest cutpurses to Emperors. They do not seem to have a particular fondness for any specific positions or professions. Some people theorise that their natural ability to "drain" the Souls of those they kill may be used to slow the aging process to give them an increased life-span, and perhaps even immortality, however this life would be forever at the cost of other's lives and Souls.
