Sebastian arrived in Aberddu after fleeing the Frisian invasion of Paravel. He had his former master's Vampiric son in tow, no money and no place to stay. After a couple of days of living rough on Aberddu's streets ,eating whatever could be scrounged and finding rats for Yulian to feed on, an oppurtunity arose. A young nobleman of Paravelian descent by the name of Ruffeo Crane required the services of a butler within his home and a barman for his recently opened tavern.

Sebastian took the job and was surprised to find Ruffeo a kind, caring master. Ruffeo allowed both Sebastian and Yulian to stay on his property and later gifted the Light on The Green tavern to be his and Yulian's home while in Ruffeo's employ.

After finding out Sebastian's former employ as both butler and bodyguard, Ruffeo requested that Sebastian join the Aberddu Adventurers Guild and offer his services there. Not long after joining the guild Sebastian was converted to a follower of Law after witnessing what he interpreted to be divine intervention from Law itself. After questioning Ruffeo, Paige and Gabriel it was decided that Retribution was the aspect most suited to Sebastian.

Towards the end of 1107 Sebastian lost his home and almost his life when a wrathful Miranda burnt the place down after hunting down 2 vampires lodging in the Light on The Green. He then uptook residence in Ruffeo's house over the winter season with Yulian, while the Light on The Green was re-built an refurbished.
