Raised by her Grandparents in a small village in Aragorn under unusual circumstances (the Sal in stead of san, implying unknown father), she was shunned by the rest of the village as a corrupting influence. Displaying a remarkable talent for healing at an extremely young age, she soon out stripped all those who could teach her in the area. After the death of her grandparents the village elders granted her leave (with indecent haste) to travel in search of more knowledge well before she came of age. After travelling for two years she settled in Aberddu with the adventurer's guild at the tender (for a woodelf) age of 42. For the first time she experianced acceptance, and grew particularly attached to a woodelf by the name of Andelaine, the first of her own race ever to offer her friendship. Andelaine's subsequent murder at the hands of a guildmember tipped her into a period of insanity involoving several bargains with Kesoth and a knowledge of torture. She became close friends with Daisy and Moriquendi (affectionally known as the three vestal virgins of aberddu), as well as Spike, Misty and Galen. Her regard for Galen extended well past that of friendship, but was unable to break through the prejudices left from her village to recognise this. For the last eight years she has fought and healed for the guild , working tirelessly through plagues, demon attacks, god wars etc, taking death as a personal insult, and doing all in her power to keep others alive. Unfortunately, Galen became undead, and slowly but surely the friendship turned to emnity, though never shaking Miranda's love for him, despite the attrocities he committed. As the realisation dawned on her that he would need to die before more people were killed by him and his goddess, her will to act kept failing her. At the same time she formed an unexpected friendship with Ed Debrie, it was him she turned to when she was finally forced to kill Galen, the two becoming somewhat entwined in her head. She hadn't been able to save Galen, she was not about to fail Ed.
Now she is suffering from a small case of pit taint, and trying to prove that she is still a worthy guidmember. This has not been helped by the fact she has turned the guildmaster in to a tree.
The situation of demonic possession was resolved, although an attempt to use her to power a pit gate was foiled by Ed, leaving the majority of the Adventurers' Guild stranded in the pit. A fate fromm which they were rescued by the ex-frisian inquisitor, Maltheus. As to the Guildmaster being a tree, she made him an imortal demon instead, a state that she is currently trying to undo.
To compenste for the amount of destruction that can be created by a pit tainted high level shaman, she's bought up and renovated the north wall slums, charging pepper corn rent, built a hospital and school, and is currently doing her best to invent communisim.
