Iceni

The Iceni are Amroth's chosen; once they resided within the Iron hills, but during The God War, The Defiler aspect of Keesoth rose up from the deep caverns beneath the Iron hills where he had feasted on all of his chosen people, the Deep Nachwerten, and made war upon the Iceni and their allies who had gathered their to defend against him. The Defiler was destroyed, but allmost all of the Iceni had fallen in battle with the god.

In recent years the Iceni have grown once more in number, and now reside within the holy city of Meridian on what used to be the plains of blood in the middle kingdoms, where they live within a strict caste system:

The Devastators - slayers of Demons The most aggressive of the Iceni, they may take on the form of a wolf and wear black and red markings in battle.

The Reapers - hunters of the Undead More quiet and patient than the Devastators, these take on the form of a lion or tiger. In battle they wear black and blue markings.

The Guardians - protectors and healers By Iceni standards they are gentle and patient, but when enraged are the most lethal of the Iceni. They may take on the form of a bear, and in battle they wear black and grey markings.

Magic

The Iceni may only learn the Magics granted by Amroth.

Diplomacy

The Iceni have varying degrees of tolerance for other races and religions, but have a seeething hatred for Keesothians and Deep Nachtwerten, though an Iceni will not forget their code of honour even when facing such people. They are fiercely devout to Amroth, and will not suffer any insult upon their faith or upon other Amrothians.
