Frisia is a large and powerful country to the north of Aberddu, born from the ruins of the pre-cataclysmic country of Clarancy. It is ruled by the iron hand of the High Inquisition, and accepts no other races apart from Purebloods. The Inquisition spread their doctrine of Purity throughout the populace, along with the idea that Elves and Greenskins are evil. They dabble in all sorts of unsavory practices, and make no apology for it. Basically a feudal land, the peasantry are better cared for than those in many other countries - safe in the knowledge that the Inquisition is working hard to make the Proud Motherland, and the world in general, a safe, secure and comfortable place for them and all other Frisian citizens. The nobility is more military than court based, and there is little that is passed directly as inheritance.The main power base of the Inquisition is the monstrous Frisian military that marches under the banner of the Red Army.
Composed of numerous separate armies, battalions and units., there are few families in Frisia who do not contribute in some way to this force.

Another powerbase has risen up, however, in the last couple of years. The Black Inquisition are much more terrible. Run by the elusive Black Inquisitor, they are intent on far more widespread cruelty. Little is known of their actual remit, save that they seek to destroy all non Frisians without discrimination. Fears have arisen recently that they may be dabbling in necromancy as well as demonology. They run a research base called Anoveld, from which many monsterous creations and plans eminate.
