Chaos
The Pantheon of Chaos was one of the few Pantheons to come through the god war with little change. The Pantheon includes Gods of often opposing ideals and natures, but all are united in their wish to see Primal Chaos overcome the opposing force of Law. Although placed firmly in 'Dark Alliance' there are some Chaos Gods who are good or benign. Due to the natural of the Pantheon, there are a wide variety of followers, very few who are of the same mind. There is however one thing they all appreciate: upseting the forces of Law.
The primary symbol of Chaos is the eight pointed star, which shows eight lines pushing away from a central body, showing the forces of chaos at work over all and in all directions.
There are 4 central beliefs that are core to all worshippers of Chaos:
1. Subvert the Forces of Law when ever you may
2. Spread Chaos among all people, by thought, word or deed
3. Benefit Chaos by all your actions
4. Hold the central beliefs at the core of your life.

Sects
There are many different sects of Chaos worship as you may imagine. Many of these have been formed by the interference of the Gods themselves and the fickle ways of the pantheon. There are also a large number of followers who belong to no cult or sect, choosing to follow their own path in Chaos.
The Brotherhood of Mezreton’s Rebirth
The brotherhood is a cult formed from the remains of a large sect that was destroyed more the 800 years old. The sect, lead by a mighty warrior called Ceodric Mezreton, who became a devoted follower of Chaos, believe that use of martial force was the best way to gain control of lands and people for the benefit of Chaos. They waged many successful wars, but were finally defeated in the middle Kingdoms. History does not recall who by. Now reformed, the cult is dedicated to use of force and martial skill to regain all lands lost from Chaos and wait in hope for the Rebirth of their mighty leader.
Ceryn’s Marauders
Ceryn, a potent avatar of the Pantheon came to the material plane to rally the forces of Chaos specifically against those of the Temple of Law, after the Chaos Temple had faced a shameful and bloody defeat at their hands. The original marauders then raided All the temples of Law they found, starting in Arabi and working outwards in concentric circles. They were extremely successful. Ceryn’s Marauders are large cult spread across the continent, although the majority are found in Arabi. They are effective and fear inspiring temple raiders. It was a group of Ceryn’s Marauders that stole the Book of Law from the Temple of Law, Aberddu in 1097 ac
The Shades of Colour
This cult is said to have been formed by the very hands of the Melbinoorn herself, possibly at the time of the Last Cataclysm. The original cult were all powerful pureblood mages that were chosen by Melbinoorn to enter the Chaos Priesthood. The order still exists to this day, it’s members still chosen by the hands of the Pantheon. However, this is all that is truly known about the Shades of Colour. The rest is mere speculation. They exist deep inside every major temple of Chaos, but are never seen. They are held up as the example of ultimate and terrible power to initiates – like ‘bogey men’ in children’s stories, and are always mentioned in whispers and rumours during times of hardship, distress or change. Some believe that the Shades can not die and the new members merely add to their number.
Deities of the Pantheon
Melbinoorn
(also called ‘Queen of Chaos’, ‘Goddess of Flowers and Perfume’) She controlled the pantheon for the first eight hundred years after the Cataclysm. She is vain and arrogant and expects grovelling worship from Her followers, who must comment on her beauty and wit in order to stay in favour
Malaktee
(also called Goddess of Necromancers, Goddess of the False death)
Minor deity of Chaos, gained power during the Cataclysm and now preys on followers of Death. Malaktee delights in corruption and torment.
Bes
(also called ‘Lord of Dancing’)
Bes is the patron of dancing, pregnant women and ugly dwarves. Bes turns metal-rich seams to rubbish, but is a powerful ward against snakes
Baubo
(also called Amaterasu)
Baubo is the Goddess of laughter, indecent gesturing and ribald jokes. She protects those who perform acts of chaos because they find them funny. She herself once seduced the God Amroth.
Malohin
(also called The Gambler)
This wicked god, whose name should never be spoken, is the patron of Fortune (or Misfortune, depending of how He's feeling). He is the god of the roll of the dice, the toss of the coin, the cut of the cards. Seemingly a random diety, He is in fact far more spiteful than is usually recognised. Many people gamble with Malohin, but few ever win. It is said that anyone who can beat Malohin in a game of chance may have his greatest wish granted, but all who lose to this God will lose anything and everything they have that Malohin wants. Offerings were once made to Malohin to appease Him and keep His wrath at bay, but nowadays even the most fervent worshippers of Chaos are afraid to go near His shrines.
The Brothers
Arioch – the eldest The god of charm, manipulation and magic. He is often worshipped by those seeking advancement in the world of ‘arcane’ arts and magic.
Balan – the middle brother. A minor duke of Chaos who has little power and few followers of his own, his main significance is that he is the key that forms the powerful Triad of the brother.
Maluk – the youngest. The god of spite and jealousy, he is often worshipped by small malevolent types who bare a grudge. He has very little actual power, and was stopped from rising up on the material place by the Marauders of Ceryn.

The strongest of the Chaos Gods of War, He is the patron of honourable warriors and all things martial. Mithras is said to be the child of Amroth and Baubo.
Zhorta
The Goddess of needlework and frogs, She is a cruel and relentless mistress. She treats Her chosen with cold contempt, and rewards only those who are truly worthy.
Slortar the Old
Possibly one of the oldest deities of any pantheon, Slortar has no followers of His own. He prefers to watch over those who walk the road of chaos alone, particularly those who have interesting lives.
.
(pronounced ‘ritindott’)
He is one of the Gods of total Randomness. He embodies no specific aspect, preferring to remain completely unpredictable, not confined by any responsibilities. His name has been forgotten by all the other Gods, and only two beings in all existence know what His true name is, including Himself.
Xiombarg
(also called Lord of Honey)
Present ruler of the Pantheon, Xiombarg is not the ineffectual god He may appear. The champion of cunning in battle and ambitious advancement in the name of Chaos, He has beguiled may followers of other Chaos deities to worship him instead.
