Below is a more detailed section - here is a brief overview of the races on Urdd

The different Races that appear on Urdd can be divided into subcategories

Humans
- Purebloods - default genetics
- Tartars - Clan based warrior people - NOT STUPID
- Alians - Unusual due to immunity to herbal healing - unknown origin
- Sebythe - Sebythe do not necessarily breed sebythe - they were orginially the product of a rogue gene. Very rare and mistrusted - due to soul eating habbits.
- Nipponese - The Nipponese possess a cultural race memory that gives them a hatred of elves.

Elves
- Dark Elves (Nachwerten) - Mistrusted and apparently responsible for the death of a lot of parents
- Cloud Elves - Arrogant and supercilious - they consider themselves directly descended from the High Elves of old.
- Wood Elves - Most common of elven races - can be clan based although more civilised than Earth Elves.
- Earth Elves - Most down to earth of elven races - common and usually clan based
- Fire Elves - Bad tempered and superious by nature - large colony in Nortroll - because nobody else wanted them.
- Deep Nachwerten - Original race lived underground and favoured dark practices. They were not inherently evil and were fond of bright colours - they lived in tribes/clans with vivid tribal markings.
- Sturmwerten - Magic thieving and mercifully extinct
- Sand Elves - Desert Elves, who meditate under the sun in the same ways as cloud elves meditate. They are found exclusively in Arabi and surround Ba'al - they do not leave as they can not survive in cooler temperatures.
- River/Sea Elves - Rarely, elves are found in colonies around streams or lakes.

Dwarves
- Dwarves - nothing more, nothing less

Greenskins
- Trolls - Big and stupid.
- Dominant Orcs - Strong and cunning.
- Lesser Orcs - Less strong and no so cunning.
- Goblins - Small, but quick and often extremely cunning.
- Snotlings - need to have more than 10 present to have any kind of mental function.
- Firbolgs - strange and unusual.<!-Do we really have firbolgs?! - Ian -- Yes we do, blame Satan ;) - Lil>
- Dark Trolls - Evil, big and stupid.
- Half Trolls - Nearly as big, not nearly as stupid.

Werekin
- Greater Werewolves - protectors of the wild
- Lesser Werewolves - Lycanthropes
- Ratkin - Live in enormous family groups in the sewers and worship the 'Great Horned Rat'.

Ogres
- Ogres - Hate greenskins and magic with a vengence.
- Half Ogres - Also hate greenskins but aren't as tall.

Feykin
- Dryads - Will do anything to breed.
- Fey - The children of Krynok - some are dreams some are nightmares.
- Kender - We don't like Kender.
- Pixies-Bloody annoying; perhaps even more so than Kender...
- Poxies-Gothic, don't touch them.
