Aberddu Adventurers Guild
From Aberddu Wiki
a guild located in Aberddu, with many current and past members, from many different walks of life, from royalty to vagabonds.
The Guild was formed with the intent to provide a skilled group of adventurers who could combat magical threats that the masses could not oppose, suck as grim un-dead armies and maniacal mages. Since then the AAG has like other guilds expanded to offer other guild services such as money lending and account holding, as well as often hiring out on mass for multi-guild training sessions with the Warriors and Mages guild.
The AAG has existed on a number of sites around the city, often being forced to move to a new address due to enemy attack.
The First building was a hired out room of a tavern in Aberddu.
The second was similar to the present Guildhouse a walled enclosure with a large central courtyard donated by the large four floored Guild house on one side, this was destroyed in 1098/1099AC? By a Frysian and Tartarian forces, along with several other buildings in Aberddu.
The Third building. 1098-1105AC(?) This was the Guildhouse that existed up to the present(?), essentially it was the same as the second guildhouse but with a larger courtyard area including its own herb garden, Memorial garden and specialist annexe (primarily used by those who studied the arts of potions and alchemical concoctions.
The main Guildhouse and bunkhouses are able to bunk some several hundred Guildspersons.
This guildhouse was funded by the members of the guild with a small subsidy from the City council as one would expect for a chartered guild. During this period extensive renovations were carried out, with the construction of two gate towers built by Traygon Drago (who also aided in the construction of the City defences by providing similar towers along the City walls). Each Tower itself able to bunk 50 men at arms in time of war, but only one tower is accessible , the second tower also known as "The Green Tower" is a sealed tower, resistant to most forms of magical penetrations. The top floor of "The Green Tower" is a roof top garden with benches.
The Guildhouse survived the God war with only minor damage to its structure.
After moving around for some time, the Guild have finally returned to this building as of 1110 ac.
