Edwin Greentrousers (of the AAG) is brought up on charges of kidnapping the maiden Ellerin from her betrothed Guy, The Red Dragon of Linfield. Edwin claims to have been rescuing Ellerin to take her back to her father’s home. Gerdin of Hedgelock, Ellerin’s father, is found guilty of deceit. He had hired Edwin to ‘rescue’ Ellerin from,”…the ferocious dragon who would ravage her…”, after he had in fact received a sizeable dowry from Guy for his betrothal to Ellerin.

Frisian army attacks the Dwarven Realms and try to slaughter all the Dwarves. The Dwarves fight them back to the Frisian border, and then erect catapults to fling the Frisian dead back across the border at the Frisians. Dwarves erect a pit and a wall along their sections of the border. As with all the lands that border Frisia, the Dwarves still receive attacks from the Frisian Fanatics over the following years.

AAG celebrate their quad-centenary in fine fashion. Two minor demons are released from artifacts stolen whilst the Adventurers were under “possession” and “made to loot the Temple” in the middle kingdom of Alendin. The local Dwarf community threaten to destroy the whole of Abberddu if the Sword of Thorik – a magical undead slaying sword – is not returned to them. ‘Fortunatly’ members of the AAG ’find’ it for them. Apparently, the Dwarves had lost it down the back of a sofa they had thrown out, and one of the AAG picked it up cheap from a rag-and-bone man. Also, the AAG are threatened with the loss of Guild status (again), after they have a four day party which ends in the whole guild storming the Chapter-house of the Order of Ecstasy, demanding to be taken into the order. The Order gladly accept them, but after twelve hours the majority of the AAG flee from grounds in terror. In their terror they charge through the gardens of several merchants homes and straight into the nearest tavern, which they proceed to drink dry. When the Militia arrive to inquire about the vandals who wrecked the gardens, the AAG starts a ‘playful tussle’, which results in four members of the Militia being unable to walk without a limp for six months and two more singing soprano for several days afterwards. Ironically, not a single member of the AAG is injured, as they left the tavern by the side window after ‘inciting’ the ‘tussle’. To avoid losing guild status the AAG pay the Militia and merchants compensation. The same week the Order of Ecstasy ‘lose’ several gemstones froma number of their artifacts. Their only comment is, “…We hope that those who took them are coming closer to achieving personal ecstasy in the act. For from this we will one day achieve Universal Ecstasy…”. Four members of the AAG never leave the Chapter-house and ‘come’ closer to Universal Ecstasy.
