Johan Barclarus, heir to the throne of Barclaria raises an army to re-establish the kingdom of Barclaria from Albion. The army consists of the majority of Aberddu militia and many townsmen. They hold Aberddu for three weeks, until King Gerald of Albion sends an army of his own to take back the region. 12,000 die in the battle of Aberddu Plain. Johan disappears brining the battle to an end. A further 124 are executed for their part in the fight for Barclarian independence. Celebrations for five hundreds years of Albion rule cancelled in Aberddu. Garrison size tripled and a further two warships are added to the local ‘defences’. Rumours of a secret Necromancers corps being used after the battle to obtain the names of ‘traitors’ from the dead. The dead rebels are thrown into the sea from Johan’s Cliff, north of Aberddu.

Second Troll invasion of Albion. Pub crawl to celebrate the three-hundredth anniversary of King Sic’s death. Rumours spread that it was started by Albion brewers to increase beer prices. Brewers claim innocence. The word ‘Brewed’ becomes popular as a vulgar term for fornication. The phrases “Get Brewed” or “Fancy a Brew” become popular, in particular in Aberddu with the AAG.

Frysian invasion of Aberddu. King Gerald of Albion launches an army immediately and in the June the ‘Siege of Aberddu’ begins.

February- The siege of Aberddu ends as a Frisian army lands behind the Albion army and take of the south shore and supply lines. The Albion army surrenders to Lord Cutus, General of the Frisian armies. Aberddu and as far south as the Albion Way Pass become territory of Frisia. Rumours spread of Paravalian backing of Frisian ‘invasion’. Unofficial truce begins.

Gerald of Albion dies, aged 68 years. Taraduth the Sword, the Blood Prince crowned king.

Taraduth leads armies against Frisia. One section goes through the Albion Way Pass and retakes the lands and town of Aberddu. 3,000 Frisians and ‘collaborators’ executed on the plains north of Aberddu in sight of the retreating Frisian army. Several other sections land from the sea behind the retreating army and the Massacare of Pass Fort occurs. 15,000 Frisian troops are massacred in the battle. A further 4,000camp-followers are slaughtered. The heads of all the dead Frisians are collected and sent to the Frisian Capital with a troll caravan. It takes the caravan four hours to pass through the gates from beginning to end. At the sight of all the dead, the populace revolt against the monarchy. Frisia collapses into anarchy and local Warlords take control of different regions.

King Taraduth leads army into southern Frisia. Many local Warlords join him, but some start to form into ‘resistance’. Paravel ‘quietly’ take over parts of Northern and Eastern Frisia leaving local warlords as ‘governors’ of the newly formed states.

Taraduth becomes ill – allegedly poisoned. Expansion into Frisia is halted.

The occupation of southern Frisia starts to be questioned by the populace of Albion. Many have lost relatives to the war. Resistance grows stronger as many warlords start to form alliances to claim back ‘Frisian’ lands. Taraduth sill ill from a wastin sickness, declared incurable by all types of healer, even Priests of Life. Rumours spread of Taraduth being cursed.

Taraduth dies. His son, Credic, forms a truce with the warlords of southern Frisia, giving many of them lands in Albion. The rest of Frisia at war with each other, leave the Southern Alliance alone.

Aberddu province declared site for a new ‘summer palace’ to built on the Elven Mounds Island. Construction begins. Town walls are to be improved and extended to encompass the new extension of the city on southern shore. River defenses placed to protect site for new palace.

Summer Palace finished. King Credic opens it on the Night of Masks. Aberddu crowded with all types of creatures invited to the opening. Embassies start to open in the city. Taxes in Aberddu increase for the third time in the year.
