Foreign Fields Southern Kit Fair

Hi everyone,

We thought we just drop a quick note to you to let you all know we will be (well.. practically.. sort of) in your ‘neck of the woods’ this coming weekend as we are trading at the Foreign Fields Southern kit fair in Bristol Saturday and Sunday.

If you happen to find yourself at a bit of a loose end, do pop on by and say “hello”. Hopefully we will also be running our "Scrolls of Fortune" promotion over the weekend.

Responsibility and Guilt

The night was late. The candles burned low as the whore pulled on her jacket and left the building, heading for the Temple and sleep. She had worked the night shift many times since arriving in Aberddu, and this pre-dawn darkness was one of her favourite times. The city slept - well, mostly anyway - and even though she knew all too well what dangers could lurk around every corner and in every alleyway, she nonetheless couldn't help but feel free and lighthearted; enjoying the late-winter air of early 1110. And yet, tonight was subtly different...

Fear of the Dark

Kenshiro wrapped the bandages around his bruised and bleeding knuckles, feeling physically and emotionally exhausted, but no closer to a state of calm now than he was before he had reduced half a dozen trees to kindling. He found no peace in meditation, and unsurprisingly gained no satisfaction from violence.

Chance

“If you had the chance, would you try to find her?”

By law: Honesty

Sitting by puttering candlelight in the early hours of the morning, at his desk in a hastily reworked office, near the top of the colossal tower that served as Militia HQ, Jonah Lestyrian, Lord Commander Militant of Aberddu, worked steadily, and thought about the quiet. He could not recall a moment in his life that he considered too quiet. An almost imperceptible creak of the window, with a padded thud of feet behind him, was such a mark of the night not being nearly quiet enough.

The wayward son returns.

"Ow ow ow ow ow!"
Ares hopped on the spot as he tried to remove the splinter from his foot.
He was a much different Ares from when he last walked along this path, for one thing he was taller. He was better dressed now, he was stronger and he was pretty sure he was smarter too. But now was the hard part, now was the real test. He'd travelled from one side of the world to another and been on more planes than he could name, but he'd never been more scared than this moment.

Nightmares

Helga Oakenshield slept her dreams fast and confusing. Flashing before her were all the times she had failed to save people, fire flashed before her, countless swords fell before her eyes thudding into innocent flesh, daggers plunged into the backs of innocents weather they were being sacrificed or murdered. Then the fight flashed before her. Bloodsabre toying with her, he could beat her easily but he was letting her fight, show her strength. He could kill her with both hands tied behind his back but he chose to let her live.

The death of a clan

Kari of Clan Dustfox sat by the fire, back in tartaria after years away. People seemed more receptive now, less people seemed bothered by her being Clan Dustfox. Clan Boar accepted her, Stonesnake didn't seem to like her but that was ok by her and as for Her well she didn't seem to have a problem with her at all and that was extreamly unexpected. The next day she was due to go to try and find the staff of Clan Pheonix, they had to go on a vision quest or something. For now she sat and waited for the night to end or sleep to come witchever came first.
